ECCO was founded in 1963 in Denmark.It has today six shoe factories, four tanneries and one R&D Center worldwide, possessing the entire value chain from leather processing to shoe production and global sales network.
Today ECCO has grown to a multinational company with 21,000 employees of morethan 60 nationalities. ECCO shoes are sold in 90 countries.
Today, ECCO is the world’s 2nd largest producer of casual footwear, the 4th largest golf shoes brand, and a top5 producer of premium leather to luxury brands.
ECCO (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. is a solely foreign funded enterprise invested and established by ECCO Group in June 2004 in Chengnan Industrial Zone, Tong An District, with a total investment of U.S.Dollars 29 million. There are currently around 2000 employees in the company, producing an annual output of over 3 million  pairs of ECCO shoes, 100% for export.
