- Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Product Photographer to support our Footwear and Handbag collections.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end product photography process, including sample preparation, product styling, studio photography, retouching, color correction, image quality control, file management, and final delivery.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for product presentation, lighting, composition, and color accuracy, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced product development environment. This role works closely with Design, Product Development (PD), US Photography, and other cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent product imagery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, set up, and execute professional photography for footwear and handbags, including multi-angle pack shots, white-background images, detail shots, and on-model photography as required.
2. Prepare and style products before shooting to ensure accurate shape, proportion, positioning, materials, hardware, and overall presentation.
3. Support photography needs across different product development stages, including Proto, Sales Samples, PDP Samples, and other business requirements.
4. Retouch and color-correct images using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and/or Capture One, ensuring accurate representation of the physical product, including color, material, texture, and details.
5. Effectively photograph and retouch challenging materials such as leather, suede, patent finishes, metallic materials, and reflective hardware.
6. Perform final image quality checks for focus, lighting, color accuracy, product positioning, cropping, background consistency, resolution, and overall image quality.
7. Complete image revisions or reshoots based on feedback and deliver final assets according to required technical specifications and deadlines.
8. Manage photography priorities and workflow from sample receipt through shooting, post-production, QC, and final delivery.
9. Maintain organized digital photography assets, including file naming, folder structure, version control, backup, and archiving.
10. Collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, US Photography, and other cross-functional teams to understand product features, materials, colors, and photography requirements.
11. Maintain photography equipment and studio workspaces, and recommend improvements to lighting, equipment, software, or workflows that enhance image quality and efficiency.
12. Provide occasional Photoshop-based image editing or basic CAD support based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
• 2–4 years of professional photography experience, preferably in product, footwear, handbags, fashion, or e-commerce.
• Good written English skills, with the ability to understand work-related materials and independently write and respond to routine business emails in English.
• Strong portfolio demonstrates product photography, styling, and retouching skills.
• Proficiency with professional cameras, studio lighting, and related photography equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including retouching, color correction, and the ability to create and edit product CADs; working knowledge of Lightroom and/or Capture One.
• Basic Photoshop-based CAD capability for occasional cross-functional support.
• Strong understanding of color accuracy, image quality, and e-commerce photography standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including retouching, color correction, and the ability to create and edit product CADs; working knowledge of Lightroom and/or Capture One.
