General Summary
This position is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position will act as a liaison to the supply chain to implement, and manage, the quality management and continuous improvement systems and processes. Lead the team of inspectors fostering teamwork and collaboration ensuring that products are delivered on time and that standard operating procedures are followed at all times. Develop and manage quality indicators and metrics to support the achievement of business results。
Work Location: Vietnam
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate leadership qualities and skills, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, employee motivation, performance management and decision-making.
2. Proactively participate in risk assessment meetings, shoe base meetings, and other meetings as needed, focusing on the product engineering and viability of production according to the designed style.
3. Act as the company’s representative with manufacturers, identifying critical situations in the production process and anticipating the need for corrections/adjustments before the start of the production process, focusing on maintaining the final quality as well as meeting production and delivery requirements.
4. High level of understanding of production and quality processes to identify the level of difficulty of execution in styles vs. capacity of the manpower of the manufacturers vs. available machinery adapting the IQC, in-line, EOL and/or final inspection accordingly so product is delivered with required level of quality standards.
