- Key Responsibilities:
RSL Test and Document Management
1. Collect customer RSL standards, study and summarize key requirements, share them in the team.
2. Regularly summarize and report RSL management status.
3. Newly developed products, arrange RSL test as per product developer’s test request.
4. Products on mass production, arrange brand specific RSL test as per customer service manager and/or key account manager notification.
5. Collect RSL documents and upload them into SAP, including RSL compliance agreements and RSL test reports.
6. Manage the average test cost investment down.
7. Technical support to team on RSL standard, Testing, and Troubleshooting.
Physical Property Information Database Management
1. Collect and study customer PP standards, summarize key points and share them with the team.
2. Refresh existing Insite PP test standard if needed.
3. Request material supplier to submit test report from 3rd party lab, using the brand PP test method and standard.
4. Newly developed products - arrange PP test as per product developer’s test request.
5. Mass production - arrange brand specific PP test as per customer service manager and/or key account manager notification.
6. Share the PP test result with the related departments and teams and upload them in SAP.
3rd Party Test Lab Management
1. Work with 3rd party labs closely, to align test standards applied on PP and RSL test.
2. Test cost inquiry from lab, price negotiation, and getting approval from senior management team.
3. List requirements to test applicant of how to prepare test samples.
4. Collect, check, and submit test samples to 3rd party test lab, tracing test progress.
5. Review test result and feedback to the test applicant, and upload test results in PP test system or RSL test system.
Material (Supplier) Information Collection and Organization
1. Organize and input existing material supplier information, and new material supplier information into SAP.
2. Collect market information by attending professional trade shows, and regular contact with existing material suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Material, Textile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experienced in footwear, textile, or polymer foam industry, with strong chemistry knowledge.
• Well-Organized, and with engineering troubleshooting skills.
• Good English proficiency.
• Good teamwork and open mind in an international company environment.
• Able to travel as needed to various locations.
