- Product Manager
Job description:
-Place and manage new sample with vendors to get target lead time +price +quantity.
-Finalize the sample details with German team and vendor.
-Keep daily track on sample schedule:
a) Frequently update the status in system, make sure samples are shipped on schedule.
b) Reporting to China and German senior manager if any delay.
-Check and ensure the article sheet documents are right as requested.
-Arrange test for new items.
-Arrange sample shipment.
-Visit exhibitions with German team.
-Visit factories to collect new sample or do sample check.
-Report the sample status summary to China and German senior manager.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in furniture or other consumer goods industry, especially ever worked in a manufacturing site.
2. Preferably Product Knowledge:
a) knowledge for electrical lamp / tablewares / solid wood (reclaimed wood) / decorations.
b) knowledge about the furniture products such as making process, cost checking and quality standards like wood features, packing, testing, etc.
c) Have general knowledge of the process of recycled wood, resin, metal and glass products.
3. Very responsible and oriented in action and result.
4. Good attention to details; good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
5. University degree; Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
6. Skilled in all office software.
7. Willing to travel.
