- Purchasing Manager
Job description:
-Get order plan from German team and place new order with vendors to get target lead time +price +quantity.
-Following up the order status:
a) Keep daily track on order schedule and maintain the checking list, make sure orders are shipped on schedule.
b) Reporting delay situation to China and German senior manager.
c) Reporting the container booking and S/O situation to China and German senior manager.
-Consolidate shipments when one vendor not reach full container.
-Check and ensure the shipping documents are right as requested.
-Arrange weekly inspection planning.
-Arrange weekly payment and follow up the shipment release.
-Check and make delay deduction if any shipment delayed.
-Report the order status summary to China and German senior manager.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years merchandiser/purchasing experience, especially in manufacturing site about furniture or other consumer goods industry.
2. Preferably Product Knowledge:
a) logistic process: chose shipper, make booking, space release, etc.
b) knowledge for electrical lamp / tablewares / solid wood (reclaimed wood) / decorations.
c) knowledge about the products such as making process, cost checking and quality standards like wood features, packing, testing, etc.
d) Have general knowledge of the process of recycled wood, resin, metal and glass products.
3. Very responsible and oriented in action and result.
4. Good attention to details; good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
5. University degree; Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
6. Skilled in all office software.
